Kitmas Is Again Urging Fans To Donate Football Shirts

With Christmas rapidly approaching, football fans are being urged to donate their
unwanted shirts and kits to disadvantaged children.

The euphoria of opening a present and a football shirt appearing is unparalleled,
something which Paul and Lizzie Watson are attempting to bring to every child this
Christmas.

After their initial effort last year, where they distributed 1,000 kits to deprived children
in the UK, the couple are determined to smash that number and bring even more
smiles upon the face of young ballers this Winter.

Their efforts were initiated due to difficulties with Paul being unable to send 10 kits to                                refugee banks so instead decided to dispatch the shirts to his local food bank in
Stroud, where he was greeted with enthusiasm.

Speaking to the PA news agency, Mr Watson stated, ‘We primarily focus on what we
call neutral kits, like a Barcelona or Real Madrid shirt’

‘If you send Liverpool kits to Liverpool, you’re going to get a lot of Everton fans and
it’s hard for community groups to distribute’

‘We always stress that the shirts must be in excellent condition’

With families across the country still recovering from the financial implications of the
pandemic, the Watson’s campaign is more relevant than ever, providing relief and
support for those still recovering, even at the most expensive time of year.

Whether it be dripped out European garms, or a local non-league strip, anything is
collected; fans have the choice to donate money via the Crowdfunding page or to send a shirt to the PO Box listed on the campaign.
