Endrick officially signs with New Balance

New Balance has made headlines by announcing the signing of the 17-year-old wonderkid, Endrick, to their roster of young athletes. This recent addition to the New Balance family showcases the brand’s dedication to championing the next generation of football talent, and the exciting acquisition of the Real Madrid sensation underlines their commitment.

Prior to the official announcement, Endrick revealed a pair of limited-edition gold New Balance boots named ‘Accolade’ Tekela v4+ Low. These bespoke boots were crafted specifically for Endrick to commemorate his call-up to the Brazil national squad and his pivotal role in Palmeiras securing the Brazilian top-flight league title.

Until February 2023, Endrick was under contract with Nike, which allowed the sports brand a six-month window to extend their association with the striker. Following this period, negotiations ensued among competing brands seeking to add Endrick to their rosters. Ultimately, New Balance emerged as the frontrunner, impressing him with the level of prominence they could offer compared to giants like Nike, Adidas, and Puma, which already boasted some of the biggest names in the game.

Expressing his thoughts on the new partnership, Endrick stated, “It is a great honor to join the New Balance family and partner with a brand that is aligned with the same core values that I embody both on and off the pitch. As I continue to strive for excellence in my professional career, I know that New Balance will support my journey every step of the way.”

New Balance has been strategically investing in the next generation of football talent, having signed notable names like Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, and Harvey Elliot. Given the brand’s track record, it is a logical move for a player of Endrick’s star power to commit to New Balance as he aims to continue his path towards an enduring footballing legacy.
