Kanye West Posts Album Teaser Wearing adidas Predator Kicks

In the lead up to his eagerly-anticipated 10th studio album ‘Donda’, Kanye West shared a picture from his studio portraying his adidas Predator Accelerator TR UltraBoost trainers in its OG “Black/White/Red” colourway, besides a black mask on the floor and (presumably) Kanye’s shadow.

The photo was added alongside a series of cryptic posts on West’s Instagram account, which was further reposted by adidas Football which helped confirm the silhouette in question belonged to the iconic Predator shoe.

Apart from another staple of the growing interrelation between mainstream music, fashion and football culture, this seemingly insignificant capture helps build to the cumulation of West’s emergence into the world of football. The artist’s iconic first listening party took place at Atlanta United’s Mercedes-Benz area, an experience so captivating that West himself decided to reside in the football stadium for days after and even posting a video of himself engulfed in a sea of Atlanta United fans.

With the unparalleled success of the Yeezy range, this photograph has sparked speculation regarding the potential of a Yeezy Football range, following on from the success of the Pharrell Human Made x Football collection last year.
