Continuing the now-iconic collaboration that has football fans salivating upon every new release, Paris-Saint-Germain and Air Jordan have yet again produced another suave training and lifestyle collection, featuring a fourth kit inspired by the Chicago Bulls.
Jordan and PSG are currently celebrating four years of their partnership and the new release combines old with new by combining basketball and street culture.
The simplistic yet slick white shirt features a red accent around the sleeves and collar, with the shorts paying homage to the historic Bulls’ diamond by using the same palette as seen on the jersey.
Other items in the capsule include comfortable tracksuits and hoodies, which will no doubt see Neymar et al donning pre-match while blasting the Brazilian bangers. The fit is completed with the ever-popular Air Jordan 1 Mid, inspired by ‘youth, diversity, eclecticism and energy.’
PSG announced on their official website that the kit will be worn by both the men and women’s teams for the second half of the season, with both teams expected to showcase the attire on the European stage.
The collection also sees the continuation of Nike and Jordan’s ‘Move to Zero Initiative’, where every piece across training and lifestyle collections is made from 100% recycled polyester, aiming to reinforce sustainability.
With PSG playing Real Madrid in the UCL RO16, Mauricio Pochettino will hope the Chicago Bulls inspiration can help his star-studded front three of Messi, Mbappe and Neymar win the Champions League, just like Jordan, Pippen and Rodman won the Finals in ’96.
February 10th sees the release of the fourth shirt for Nike members, with the wider collection available from February 15th. Take a look at the PSG x Jordan 2021/22 lifestyle and training collection below;
