PSG Sign a 2-Year Partnership with Dior

Paris Saint-Germain have announced a new 2-year partnership with Dior which will see the French fashion label supply the official wardrobes for the players of the Ligue 1 club, creating both formal and casual looks in a specially-designed black and navy palette.

Whilst not being the first club to link fashion and football – Barcelona and Juventus have previously linked with Thom Browne and Loro Piana respectively – the Parisian club have undeniably been one of the leading catalysts in carving a new pathway for fashion collaborations in the world of football. In fact, it was Paris Saint-Germain who had already been involved in a partnership with Hugo Boss before switching to Dior.

A statement on the club’s website, says: ‘With this partnership, Paris Saint-Germain continues its pioneering foray into the world of fashion and lifestyle. The club shares the house of Dior’s passion for Paris, whose global influence is enhanced by the two brands’ creativity.’

The collection will be designed by Dior’s Artistic Director of men’s collections, Kim Jones, and marks the first time the high-end fashion label have ever partnered with a sports club.

The casual look features a Harrington jacket, complimented by a knitted sweater and polo shirt, all finished with an embroidered “Paris-Saint Germain” patch and the Dior initials. The look is further complimented by Dior’s Explorer derbies in black leather.

The formal outfit sees a cashmere coat paired with a jacket, shirt and pants to be worn with Captoe Derbies. The pieces are subtly enhanced with features including the emblematic Saddle bag in black grained calfskin, as well as a club-branded jacquard tie, cashmere scarf and finally a reversible belt to complete the outfit.
